Entry is by timed ticket and set circuit, with daily visitor limits and no re-entry. Huayna Picchu and Machu Picchu Mountain need their own limited tickets, and the Inca Trail closes every February.

A day tour from Cusco starts at US$ 349 per person, a 2-day tour at US$ 449, the Classic Inca Trail at US$ 789 and a 4-day Cusco package at US$ 799. Published prices are starting prices, and your quote confirms the final total.
How do you get to Machu Picchu from Cusco?
Most travelers drive about 2 hours to Ollantaytambo, take a 1.5-2 hour train to Aguas Calientes, then ride the 25-minute bus up to the citadel. The round-trip bus is included in our Machu Picchu tours.
What do I need to bring?
Bring the original passport used for the booking. It is checked for trains, entrance tickets and protected sites, and the details must match your ticket.
How far ahead should I book?
For the Inca Trail, plan 4-8 months ahead for the busiest months. For train tours, 4-8 weeks ahead is wise from June to October, especially if you want a specific circuit or mountain ticket.
Do you offer private tours?
Yes. The Machu Picchu day tour and 2-day tour are private, and most other trips have a private option priced per person for two travelers, with lower per-person rates for larger groups.
What do I pay to book?
We check availability before you pay. Your written quote states whether 50% or full payment is required and when any balance is due. After the required payment, we arrange applicable tickets and permits in your name.
